雅思口語考試的part2部分經(jīng)常讓考生感到頭疼，在這個環(huán)節(jié)中，考生通常要對一件事物或者一個生活場景進(jìn)行兩分鐘的闡述，這些話題可能包括動植物、風(fēng)景名勝、興趣愛好、體育運動等等。這類題目的共同特點是：它們都涉及日常生活場景，而這正是讓很多人感到困難的原因。我們從小到大接觸到的英語學(xué)習(xí)材料（比如教材、外刊和原版書）大多與科技、教育、政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)和環(huán)境這類“嚴(yán)肅話題”相關(guān)，但這些話題與日常生活場景存在脫節(jié)。舉個例子，你可能會發(fā)現(xiàn)談?wù)摎夂蜃兣徒逃皆掝}會比介紹一種植物或者描述一種室內(nèi)游戲要容易，這是因為對于后者所屬的生活英語，我們平時接觸到的機(jī)會并不多。怎樣解決這個問題呢？一個可行的方法是：多接觸與這些日常生活場景相關(guān)的英語材料，通過學(xué)習(xí)這些材料積累相應(yīng)的表達(dá)。這里推薦一個網(wǎng)站：www.wikihow.comwikihow可能是世界上最大的how-to指南網(wǎng)站。你可以在網(wǎng)站上看到大量教你“怎么做某事”的文章，比如 how to wash a motorcycle, how to become a dentist, how to play basketball, how to fish 等等。目前網(wǎng)站上有超過5萬6千篇文章，幾乎涵蓋了所有你能想到的主題。而且更重要的一點是，這些文章絕大多數(shù)都是用英文寫的，用詞和句式都非常簡單自然，是非常理想的學(xué)習(xí)日常生活表達(dá)的材料。我們可以用wikihow來準(zhǔn)備口語話題。舉個例子，假如你現(xiàn)在拿到了一道口語題目：Describe an indoor game that you enjoyed as a child.你想介紹一種室內(nèi)游戲：國際象棋（chess），但你對于國際象棋的規(guī)則和各個棋子的英文表達(dá)不熟悉。這個時候就可以用上wikihow了。在網(wǎng)站上搜索How to play chess在返回的結(jié)果中選擇閱讀量最高的文章：How to Play Chess for Beginners: Rules and Strategies在這篇國際象棋入門教程里面，我們可以找到很多有用的信息，比如對象棋的總體介紹：Chess is a very popular game and is widely accepted as one of the oldest games still played. Although it has a set of easily comprehended rules, it requires a lot of practice to win against skilled opponents. To win, a player must use his pieces to create a situation where the opponent's King is unable to avoid capture (a condition known as checkmate).以及對棋盤和棋子的介紹：The board is an 8x8 grid and each space is uniquely identified by a letter followed by a number using a notation called the rank and file system. Each piece has a specific name, an abbreviation (in chess notation), and specific move capabilities.從上面這些介紹中我們可以知道，國際象棋的規(guī)則是：To win, a player must use his pieces to create a situation where the opponent's King is unable to avoid capture (a condition known as checkmate)棋盤的英文介紹是：The board is an 8x8 grid and each space is uniquely identified by a letter followed by a number using a notation called the rank and file system.棋子的英文說法是piece，在教程里面我們還可以找到各種棋子的數(shù)量以及稱呼：one king, one queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns.綜合以上這些信息，我們可以給出這樣的回答：I enjoyed playing chess when I was a child.
